| Introduce | Deep Springs College (Deep Springs College, also translated as Deep Springs College) is located in the Quiet Springs Valley between the White Mountains and the Inyo Mountains in eastern California, USA. The college was founded in 1917. The school motto is: labor, academics, autonomy .
The college recruits 13 boys every year, and the school lasts for two years. Tuition and living expenses are free. In the depths of the desert isolated from the world, the students carry out super-intensive academic training while grazing. All operations and management of the school (including the appointment and dismissal of professors and the principal) are also governed by student voting. At the end of the two-year program, students receive an associate degree. According to previous statistics from Youquan College, most of the graduates transferred to Harvard, Yale, Cornell and other prestigious Ivy League schools to continue their junior year. About two-thirds received a bachelor's degree, and one-half received a doctorate Bachelor of Science. |
